With zombies still being the "it thing" in pop culture, you would need to have different iterations or combinations with other things we love in order not to have zombie fatigue. Zombie Highway had the great idea to bring zombie, guns, and cars together in one game. The sequel is now available for Android devices and the developers have added one more, errr, explosive ingredient for Zombie Highway 2 and that is nitro.
Aside from the nitro that makes the game even faster and more exciting, there are a lot more differences in the sequel, since everything has been completely overhauled and redesigned. 6 of the cars available have been given new looks. You now have 4 more new zombie types bringing to 10 the various zombie types you need to run away from. Even the weapons have all been redesigned, although all 17 are still upgradeable, and also 4 new kinds, all the better to kill zombies with.
In terms of gameplay, nothing has changed really, except that you now have 58 new objectives to finish and you get a unique daily challenge to boot. You can also now have a randomly generated road with super-detailed environments, all the better to race away from zombies. Your friends' names will also be displayed on the highway, near the kilometer of their best score so far.
You can download Zombie Highway 2 for free from the Google Play Store. There are some in-app purchases available, so if you don't want to spend too much but don't have the discipline, make sure your permission settings are all set to resist you.
