There are a lot of launchers available on Google Play and looks like more and more developers will introduce their own versions. The latest is this T9 Launcher from Dagsverket that offers quick access to your favorite apps. Just like any launchers, the T9 promises speed, predictive searches, and familiarizing of your phone usage patterns. This productivity app also allows direct dialing of numbers from the dialpad simply by clicking the Home button and clicking on it again to hide.
What's more interesting about this launcher is that you can "dial" them up. Doing so will access the app immediately. The app dialer has predictive search so you quickly access the apps you frequently use. Of course, the T9 Launcher app now also features some Material Design elements.
This free launcher app is unique because it can access apps from the phone dialer. "Calling" your favorite app is a new mobile experience only from the developer of the T9. People who already downloaded the app especially like the big icons and the dialler as the shortcut for accessing apps that are used frequently. As expected, the app still has a few bugs but developer is already in the process of fixing them.
The T9 Launcher doesn't require any root access. Simply open the T9 Launcher and use it as your home screen on your Android device. To bring up the dial pad, press the home button. Dial the numbers as if you're dialling another contact number to access the said app. If you long press on the Launch area, more information and other options will be displayed.
