One of the more popular match-3 puzzle adventure games was Bust-A-Move, and the newest version of the game, Bust-A-Move Islands is free on Android and an update brings more stages for you to play on your mobile device.
The storyline for the game (hey, even match-3 games have back stories too!) remains the same: you need to find a cure for the evil spell that has turned our heroes Bubblun and Bobblun into dragons. Although why you'd want to not be a dragon is beyond us. Bust-A-Move Islands has over 200 different stages, and the latest update to the game has added even more levels to complete.
There are also now different kinds of bubbles, obstacles, and tournaments to add to the enjoyment of the game, including Super Bubble, Bubble Plus, and Bomb Bubble Boosts (try saying that 10x quickly). Even the graphics have been changed a bit, and it now looks sleeker compared to the more retro-looking original visuals of the game.
If you feel like boasting of your score to your friends on social media, the sharing modes are there of course, as most mobile games have. The global leaderboards are also updated daily so you'll see how you're faring compared to the rest of the world that plays the game. You can download Bust-A-Move from the Google Play Store for free, but there are in-app purchases available as well.
