The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be unveiled in March during the MWC in Madrid, but that hasn't stopped people from trying to find out as much as they can about the upcoming new flagship from the Korean OEM. A Dutch site says that a user agent profile on the Samsung website has more or less confirmed what we know so far about the smartphone, while adding a few more tidbits to whet our appetite.
The profile reportedly highlights a certain model number SM-G920A, which will reportedly be the AT&T exclusive version of the Galaxy S6. It also reveals that the device's screen resolution will be 1440 x 2560 and that the "base64" might indicate that it will have a 64-bit operating system architecture. The user agent profile does not have any software navigation buttons indicated and so most likely it will have hardware buttons again. But early rumors indicate that Samsung will bring a new approach to the design of their new smartphone, so this is something people are looking forward to.
In terms of other specifications, previous rumors have said that it will have a quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and will run on a Snapdragon 810 chip. Another major change might be improvements to Samsung's much criticized TouchWiz UI, which aside from not looking good, is a huge memory hog. The current look might ruin the Material Design guidelines of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Expect more news, speculations and rumors about the upcoming smartphone to trickle in as March comes a little closer. We'll find out if the all-metal casing or curved display rumors are true and what it will actually look like in reality.
