Easily Mass-Send Snapchat Messages to All Your Friends

Snapchat Logo

Although it’s demonstrably insecure by its very nature, Snapchat can be a really fun way of communicating with your friends. While those immensely ugly faces that you make in front of the camera can technically last beyond those 10 seconds if you use an aftermarket client or any number of other methods to preserve the data, most casual users don’t do this so it’s kind of like the self destructing tapes used as plot elements in various movies. But when there are a lot of friends who need to see your ugly selfie, it can be pretty annoying and tedious to have to individually select every friend on your list to send your Snapchat to.

XDA Forum Member dapaintballer331 developed an Xposed module that provides a simple solution to this problem: include ‘select all’ and ‘deselect all’ checkboxes in the UI. The labels say it all; you can simply check ‘select all’ if you want to send your Snapchat to every single person on your friends list, or ‘deselect all’ if you subsequently realize that that may be a bad idea. But why have this when you can include it into your Snapchat story? Well, one possible reason is that not everyone will be inclined to view your Snapchat story, and another could be that Snapchats in your story actually last 24 hours rather than a few seconds.

If this sounds like something you want to try out, check out the Snapchat Select All Xposed Thread for more information. Just remember that as we’ve written several times in the past, Snapchat and other mechanisms that place trust in the client device are in no way secure, and your messages can easily be stored by your viewers.

Tribal Wars 2 arrives on Android, multi-platform strategy game

After being announced in January 2014, Tribal Wars 2 finally arrives on Android as a multi-device, cross platform strategy gaming app. With the landslide success of “Clash of Clans” a lot more developers are willing to develop cross-platform games, and InnoGames is betting on Tribal Wars 2 to be an exciting Android gaming prospect.

The plot is not uncommon – the strategy game is set in a medieval universe, where you have soldiers, knights, generals and leaders who have to make political decisions. You yourself will be playing as a ruler of a castle in a territory rife with conflict, and you must defend and expand your territory.

The app will be free-to-play, and it can be played on multiple devices such as smartphones, phablets, and tablets. It is cross platform in that it is also available for iOS devices and players play against others in a massively online world regardless of platform. Players can even play from a browser!

The game is a follow-up to InnoGames’ relatively successful browser game – Tribal Wars – which has, as of last count, 55 million registered players. The Hamburg-based company is hoping that this sequel will give them the same amount of success as the predecessor.

What do you do when your new touch-based racing game gets downloaded over 2 million times on iOS? Well, apart from be deliriously happy, the obvious next step would be to release it on Android as well. That’s exactly what Marvelous Europe and Genera Mobile have done with Touch Racing 2, bringing this new racing game as a free-to-download game to the Google Play Store.

What makes Touch Racing 2 addictive? Well, it built on the foundations of its first version, expanding the racing vehicles now to include off-road vehicles and speed boats. Players just simply tap and hold in the direction they want their vehicle to veer to. Holding further away gets you more speed. Drag in any direction makes your vehicle turns. That is the secret of why Touch Racing has been as popular as it is – it’s so darned easy to play.

The game keeps the players hooked with objectives to unlock, like upgrades and new vehicles. Check out the new game (we did) via the Google Play Store link below, and enjoy racing.

RPG standout The Witcher arrives on Android as board game

The app is called “The Witcher Adventure Game” and it is a digitized version of the board game based on the standout RPG game made by CD Projekt Red. It’s a multiplayer game that allows you play as one of four heroes who wander around the game territory, battling monsters, and gaining experience and glory. Sounds fun right?

The twist of the game is that choosing any of the heroes will force you to play the game with a different strategy, as each of them have different methods progressing in the game. One uses combat skills, the other magic, the other charm, and the other one diplomacy. So there is a potential of playing the game differently every time.

The board game features over 200 cards, and then it also allows for online multiplayer gameplay. If playing alone, the game also has a human vs. AI game. The art design of the digital board game will be very familiar to those who have played the RPG on console or PC.

It’s another one of those themed games that should be popular for a specific group of people, mainly the ones who have played “The Witcher” before. But if you are new to the franchise, the casual nature of the game allows you to learn it just as fast as any other digital board game out there. It is available via the Google Play Store for USD$5.99.

Peter Molyneux’s Godus now on Android, all you mortals despair

Peter Molyneux, one of the preeminent British game designers of our day, has received a lot of deserved recognition for another one of his “play god” games – this most recent called “Godus”. The game has spent a lot of time on Steam and iOS, but now it’s finally out on Android.

The genre is easy enough to learn, Godus allows you to become a creator – you can build and build, or you can destroy. You can control islands, make them either rise or fall. Essentially, you can become the deity of your own little universe. How you are as a creator will dictate how many followers you will have. If you are a likable creator deity, pretty soon you will have lots of mortals following you.

godus1

Reviews for the game have been on the warm side, although there are some who are just not into it. We say it’s definitely worth a try – give it a spin and see how you are as a creator. If you’re having a particularly bad day, this is your chance to hurl meteors at people just because you can.

The app is free to download, with in-app purchases. Give it a try and tell us what you think about it. Who knows, you might be better at this than your day job. Check out the source link via Google Play Store.
