For audiophiles and those who want to show off their sweet multi-media set-up at their pad, the speaker placement can sometimes cause much stress and debate (if you live with other people). Samsung says they have found the solution to this problem with their first omnidirectional wireless speaker called the Wireless Audio Radiant 360 R7.
Not only will this egg-shaped, "futuristic" looking speaker fit right in with your viewing/listening room's aesthetics (assuming you already have one), but it will bring 360 degrees of "premium, omnidirectional sound". This means that wherever you place it in the room, you will get the full aural experience of having quality sound without sacrificing space, design, and quality. Well, that is if you think that the sound quality from Samsung accessories are above the rest or relatively better than its competitors in the same price range.
The R7 has wireless connectivity, so you can hook it up to any of your devices that can be connected. It works with Samsung's Multiroom App 2.0, that can share music across various connected devices, whether it's your phone, tablet, computer, etc. The app, which now has a brand new interface, helps you control the speakers, the sources, your playlists while you're browsing your music library. The speakers can also connect with compatible Samsung TVs, soundbars, and other mobile devices. And if you use Multiroom Link, you can connect it to all of the existing ecosystem of multi-room audio products from Samsung.
The Wireless Audio Radiant 360 R7 will be on sale through the website and selected retail stores starting this month. It will cost you $499.99, which may still be cheaper than getting a whole set of speakers to give you an omnidirectional experience.
