Since we spend an inordinate amount of time looking at our smartphone, it should be a requirement that our devices' wallpapers should be beautiful. There are a lot of wallpaper apps out there, both live and static, but wouldn't you like something that will make you long to travel to far-away places or give you more information about the picture staring back at you? TapDeck says it is the smart wallpaper that will match your smartphone, as it can offer you more than just visual satisfaction.
First of all, TapDeck is more than just pretty pictures. It actually has the ability to learn the kind of things you like and even claims it understands the "context of your usage". It is integrated with several third-party suppliers like Wikipedia and Reddit to bring you images and even audio, text, and video that will beautify your smartphone and keep you learning at the same time. Just double tap the image to change your wallpaper if you're not happy with what you're looking at. And then if you want to learn more about your new wallpaper, just swipe up.
The app currently has over a thousand HD images available but they keep adding more everyday. The content sources are also being refreshed, so unless you double tap endlessly, the wallpapers will not repeat anytime soon. And if you do find some that you really like, you can favourite them and find them again by scrolling through your wallpaper history.
You can download TapDeck for free from the Google Play Store. It is still in beta mode though, so you need to sign up at www.tapdeck.io to be able to use the app.
