Hootsuite update: Material Design (of course), better syncing

For social media managers who take care of multiple accounts, an app like Hoosuite is definitely a god-send. Every update is something to look forward to as it helps take care of your Twitter, Facebook Pages, and other social networks and help you to not go crazy. This latest one is major in terms of design and user interface, adapting the visual guidelines that most Android apps have been using, and making it easier to sync your content wherever you are.

The app has now been redesigned from the ground up, and it has followed Google's guidelines with its Material Design to give it a "consistent and unified Android experience". But it's not just with the looks that they've improved. It's also now easier to navigate the app, which is important if you're doing a gazillion things on it. The syncing between the web version and the mobile app is also now better, so that your dashboard will reflect what you've been doing in seconds, wherever you are using Hootsuite. You can also now sync your search streams in both desktop and app.

Since it has been proven that posts with images get more engagement from users, the update also has now added the ability to share images from your other social feed or third-party apps to your Hootsuite profiles. And if you use Hootsuite as well to manage your Facebook pages, the update now brings you more functionalities, like creating separate streams for My Posts, Inbound Posts, Unpublished Page Posts, etc.

If you don't have Hootsuite yet, you can download it for free from the Google Play Store. If you already have it, you can just update your app if you don't see the changes yet.
