Caviar app now available in Android for your food delivery needs

No, the Caviar app is not something you use to have those expensive fish-eggs delivered to where you are (although, you could, if the restaurant has it on their menu). It is, however, a fairly convenient way to have food brought to your doorstep, if you don't feel like having or making a home-cooked meal or going out somewhere for dinner (or breakfast or lunch or snacks). The app is now available for Android devices, covering several key cities in the US.

Having food delivered to where you are isn't something to be ashamed of anymore, since most of us live hectic lifestyles now. Dining out sometimes requires too much effort. And talking to someone on a hotline just doesn't do it for you because all you see are not-so-appetizing images on the take-out menu. With the Caviar app, you can browse through the best photos from the best restaurants in your area. You can also customize your order just the way you like it by including notes and detailed instructions when you place your order.

If you're becoming impatient about the lateness of your order, you can also track through GPS the status of your delivery. You can see how far (or hopefully, near) away your delivery person is from your location, so you know if you still have time for a snack to tide you over. Or you can spend your time waiting by looking at the photos on their menus so you can torture yourself a little more.

You can download the Caviar app for free from the Google Play Store. It is currently offering delivery services in cities like Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, and Washington DC.
