Squarespace brings two Android apps to help manage your blog

Content management system Squarespace has been one of the go-to sites for people who want a customized and low-maintenance kind of website for their personal (and sometimes professional use). Squarespace is introducing two new apps on the Android platform to help both users and non-users manage content for their own blogs or sites: Squarespace Note and Squarespace Blog.

You don't need to sign up with or have a Squarespace account to be able to use the first app, Squarespace Notes. It basically functions just like any other note-taking app. It's a blank canvass where you can jot down your thoughts (which you can later on use for your blog or website). It's a no-frills black and white, unbranded app that will just let you focus on the things you need to jot down instead of bells and whistles. It can also sync your notes with Squarespace (if you have an account), Evernote, Dropbox and other related apps.

Notes

Meanwhile, Squarespace Blog is easy enough to understand from its name. It's a mobile app where you can easily upload content to your website. And for this, you really need a Squarespace since you need to link it somewhere. You can write and edit your posts using the CMS that you're familiar with if you've been using Squarespace for some time now. You can also reply and moderate comments on your site, even when you're not on your desktop, for example while commuting or at a gathering. You can also manage multiple blogs and sites in the Blog app and toggle between them easily.

While there is a monthly or yearly subscription when you host and manage your site on Squarespace, the Android apps are absolutely free. You can download Squarespace Notes and Squarespace Blog from the Google Play Store.
