Help Odd Bot Out escape the robot factory

Odd one out. Admit it, those are the first words you think of when you hear the name of the game. There's nothing odd about this app but the main character, Odd, is not like the other robots. Odd didn't make it as a real robot because he failed a standardized test for robots. The result? He ended up in a recycling bin. Odd needs to escape using only physics, electricity, and building blocks. Well, that's not exactly easy because you need to be smart enough to solve this puzzle game.

Odd Bot Out's free version is ready for download but with only ten free levels. To unlock 90 more levels, you need to pay a one-time in-app fee. The paid version of the Odd Bot Out is available for only $1.99 which offers all game levels unlocked and ready for play. No need for an in-app purchase.

Every level of the Odd Bot Out presents a new challenge. You can ride a robotic centipede, hot-wire a rocket launch, or build a bride across a small abyss to help Odd out. Expect to see more wheels, motors, circuits, wires, buttons, and rockets as you go through each game level of the puzzle game.

Go crazy with puzzles in motion in Satellina

It seems like that a lot of mobile developers' mantra these days is the simpler, the better but also more difficult and more addictive. Satellina is the latest one out the door, with its minimalist but pretty design, and a similarly simple gameplay that is easy to understand but difficult to let go, or as their description says, will drive adults to "obsessive lengths".

Satellina is a puzzle in motion kind of game that has an extremely challenging difficulty curve, although it's pretty easy to learn the rules at first. It has 50 unique and beautiful levels that become more difficult (and frustrating) as you go up the ladder. Despite the constant screams of frustration that you will emit, the gameplay is extremely addictive and you won't be able to stop.

Since the game deals a lot with colors, you may think that colorblind people will not be able to play it. Good thing there are alternative palettes for those who cannot detect colors the same way everyone else does. There are also various color schemes, secret codes, and bonus modes to keep you even more entertained. The synthpop soundtrack is also pretty cool and will distract you from the fact that you're tearing your hair out everytime you die in the game.

If you're feeling competitive, you will be able to see the global leaderboard and see how you're doing against everyone else playing the game. You can buy Satellina from the Google Play Store for only $1.99 and there are no more in-app purchases necessary.

LinkedIn’s Connected app now available for Android

If you're not really that satisfied with your built-in phonebook or your current contacts app and if a lot of your contacts are on LinkedIn, then this new app is something you can consider being a replacement for the current one you're using. LinkedIn Connected brings more than just the usual functionality of a phonebook and integrates information that your contacts have added to their LinkedIn profile to help you build a better relationship with those you'll be encountering both online and offline.

Connected lets you know the usual birthdays, anniversaries, milestones that it will be able to get from their LinkedIn profiles and their existing info on your smartphone, as soon as you sync your contact and calendar with the app. It uses a card interface so that it is easier to look at your contacts, just like you would a business card. You can also get a deeper insight into a colleague that you will be meeting up with, like their interests or their last activities, so that it would be easier for you to connect with them once you're face to face.

If you've made an entry on your calendar that you're meeting up with one of your contacts, it can give you notifications once you're in that meeting already, giving you a "secret weapon" with which to break the ice with. And you don't need to actually open the app to view information, since it has a widget where you can view details from your smartphone or tablet's homescreen.

You can download LinkedIn's Connected app for free from the Google Play Store. The main app for the professional social network is still there, but it is used more for the actual networking, and this new one is more for connecting with your existing contacts already.
