LG to allow test of 4,000 new G4 units before launch in customer campaign

We’re drooling with envy here, because LG has just announced that they will be selecting 4,000 lucky users to test out their new flagship smartphone, the LG G4, as part of a customer experience campaign. These consumers will come from 15 different countries and will “test drive” LG’s new baby for a month, with the Korean company hoping to generate hype and also get some feedback before it launches the new device possibly by end of the month.

These users will come from Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, United States, China, India, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong. LG says that the users will be chosen based on entry responses, and that the selection criteria may vary from one market to another. If chosen, the users will get to use a new LG G4 for 30 days and post online on their experiences with the new phone.

The LG G4 is hyping a new UI, and they’re hoping the consumers will pick up on that. Another unique feature is the phone’s rumored curved design, a la the LG G Flex 2. While we have not confirmed if the G4 will take on a slightly curvy aesthetic, LG has made no move to discount that as well.

If you’re in these markets, you might want to check the LG website in the next few days for any announcement that could actually get you a first look at the new LG G4, way before everybody else does. We’ll surely wait for the pics and posts that this campaign generates.
