Wunderlist update: Material Design, folders, colorful home view

If you are highly dependent on your to-do lists to get you through the day, getting constant updates from your favorite app to create lists is always a welcome fact. If you're a fan of Wunderlist, one of the most popular, and if we may say so, one of the best productivity apps available, then you'd definitely want to read this, if you didn't know it yet: the app has been rebuilt from the ground up and it looks and seems pretty awesome.

You already expect what we're going to say next. Yes, Wunderlist now sports that thing called Material Design. You may have heard of it. But it's not just applying the visual guidelines that Google has strongly suggested to developers. Yes, they've added the color schemes, animations, transitions, but they've also added the Add to Wunderlist sharing widget, support for Android Wear and Google Now, and added more widgets as well.

The Folders feature is one of the most requested ever, according to the Wunderlist team. It lets you create, duh, folders, that can help separate certain aspects of your life so that everything is not jumbled up together. So you can create a Work folder, a Food folder, a Travel folder, a Pop Culture folder, and then drag lists to the respective folders. Just open the one (or ones) you need when you need it. You can even make an Archive folder to store all of your completed projects that you still need to look at every once in a while.

The update has rolled out already to most users. If you still haven't succumbed yet to the power of the Wunderlist, now is your chance to discover why list and productivity nuts are crazy about it. You can download it for free from the Google Play Store. There are a few in-app purchases to fully avail of all its features.
