Most people nowadays, particularly those from this digital generation, probably have more than 2 devices that they constantly use, and the batteries of these gadgets will most likely not last the entire day. Another problem facing multiple-gadget owners is the fact that there are sometimes limited outlets in which to recharge our poor ole devices. A new IndieGoGo campaign aims to solve that problem by bringing you the FlexiCharger, which can charge up to 5 devices through both wired and wireless means.
The FlexiCharger is just one device that you plug to one socket in your wall, whether you're at home, at school, or work, or wherever there's a wall socket. It can fast charge various devices with its 8.4 A power that can be shared to up to 5 devices. It calls itself a "True Wireless" charging station because you just need to dock or place your gadget on to the Flexi Charger and it will start getting juiced up. It uses the Qi standard, which is still currently the most popular among the wireless charging platforms.
But if you need to use your smartphone or tablet a little bit away from the socket, the FlexiCharger also has a retractable cable that will let you move around the area for up to 13 feet (4 meters). It has a fold-out try where you can place your smartphone or tablet while charging. You can also use the device to actually make your WiFi signal in the room stronger because it has a built-in Repeater. The FlexiCharger itself is not ugly to look at, and in fact has a blue LED-backlighting that will apparently bring a soothing effect to the room.
This is one of those IndieGoGo projects that a lot of people seem to want to support since it has almost reached 10x the amount it was initially going for. There are still 24 days left in the campaign, so you can still help fund the FlexiCharger, pleding as low as $79 to be able to get the device by October this year.
