As you can imagine Android was in full force at CES 2015 with lots of new products using the OS and designed to run on it. One of the things that turned up at the show that BBM fans might like is a new version of BBM that is designed to run on Android Wear smartwatches.
Blackberry says that BBM for Android Wear has taken some of the most common BBM activities out of the pocket off your smartphone and put them on the wrist. Without touching the phone users of the BBM for Android Wear app will be able to see who messages are from and read them.
Users can also review and accept invites from BBM contacts on the go and sort through messages to find content you want to see. Android Wear users will also be able to choose from a list of pre-defined messages to respond to a message without needing to dig out the phone.
BBM for Android Wear will also support Google Now voice responses to messaged. There is no exact timeframe for when BBM for Android Wear will land. All BlackBerry is saying right now is that it will be available soon.
