Yahoo Screen app arrives for Android users

Android users now have another option to consider when it comes to streaming video. The latest addition to the Play Store comes courtesy of Yahoo and the app is called Yahoo Screen. This one is free to download and free to use. You'll be able to stream a variety of content including some from Saturday Night Live.

To that point, the Yahoo Screen app is said to be the exclusive home for all clips from the Saturday Night Live archives. Other content highlights include Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, Tosh.0 and South Park. You'll also get to watch some Yahoo Originals as well as videos from The Onion, BuzzFeed and The New York Times.

The layout is pretty simple and easy to navigate. Yahoo Screen has you swiping up and/or down to change channels and swiping side-to-side to browse videos within each channel. You are also able to scroll to the top to search for your favorite clips. Of course, social sharing is there and Yahoo makes it easy to share details of what you are watching on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.

We aren't certain Android users necessarily needed another video streaming app, however Yahoo Screen does appear to have a decent content selection. The Yahoo Screen app can be found using this Google Play Store link.
