Project Ara – What Do You Want to Know?

Project Ara Module

Google will be holding its first Project Ara Developers’ Conference this April 15-16 in Mountain View, CA. The conference will be live-streamed, and in-person attendance is limited. Guess who will have a representative at the conference?

While the Project Ara MDK .10 has been released and the conference schedule is online, what details the conference will bring is largely unknown. According to the schedule, we should see some very firm details about what the final product will look like, specifications for module development, the hardware and software stacks, and even licensing details. As I am sure everyone else is wondering, we also hope to maybe even see a working prototype of the device.

Since we are sending a representative, we wanted to know what YOU would like to know about Project Ara. We’ll ask the Project Ara contributors these questions and more, to try to get a better idea as to what the final product will look like. Do you want to know about diagnostic tools used for the UniBus interface? What about how the different modules will interact with kernel drivers? Please let us know in the comments below so that we can be sure to ask the right questions. And of course, you can visit the Project Ara forums on XDA to discuss.
